Rachel Stevens is the first celebrity to be snapped up by Next to front its Petites range, starting in January 2013. The 34-year-old former singer will front the Petites range in 550 Next stores across the UK, in the Next Directory and the Next website. Speaking about her role with the high-street fashion brand, the mum-of-one admitted she’s the perfect star for the campaign – seeing as she’s 5ft 1 and a size 6-8. “Being petite, I’ve always found it tricky to find clothes to fit well,” she said. “The attention to detail in the cut is very important to ensure that clothes for smaller women are still very tailored. “It’s great to be modelling for Next as the Petites range has been designed specifically with this in mind. “They have a huge choice in the range, which means that I don’t miss out on the latest fashion because of my size.” Next’s Petites range is designed to fit women between 4′ 11″ – 5′ 3″ and goes from a size 6 to a size 18.
