When Union Street’s Flares/Reflex club re-brands as Popworld, it is planning to bring a host of nineties and noughties pop stars to the city in support of its policy of offering the best “cheesy” music. Jay McDonnell said S Club 7 stalwarts Bradley McIntosh and Jo O’Meara, now a sprightly 34 and 36 respectively, are set to appear late next month (NOV) as the first in a series of personal appearances at the venue. “Bradley and Jo will sing the S Club hits,” he said. “With Popworld it’s about live personal appearances.
