Mum-of-one recalls the moment she discovered she’s expecting another child with husband Alex Bourne

Rachel Stevens announced her pregnancy in September last year and the former S Club 7 beauty could not be more thrilled about the news. Speaking in an exclusive interview in this week’s OK! magazine, the mum-of-one – who’s eight months pregnant – finally broke her silence on becoming a mum for the second time. “I’m so excited,” the 35-year-old gushed.

The expectant beauty isn’t the only one who’s chuffed to be welcoming a new addition to the family in about a month’s time. Alex Bourne and his wife are already parents to adorable Amelie and she can’t wait to welcome a baby brother or sister into the world. “She’s always kissing my tummy and saying: ‘I love you, baby, I’m going to share all my toys with you – except Minnie Mouse’,” Rachel shared.

The ex-popstar went on to recall the moment she discovered she’s expecting another child with her property developer hubby. After landing back on home turf following a trip to Majorca, Rachel decided to take a pregnancy test, presuming she was two weeks along but got the surprise of her life when she read the results. “I was actually ten weeks. I was over the moon,” she beamed.

Rachel and Alex decided to be more organised the second time round and not only have they found out the sex of their second offspring but have already picked out a name. “We were so happy when we found out, but every child is so special, we had no preference,” Alex told us as the couple admitted they’re keeping the sex and name a secret until his or her arrival.
