WaterAid wateraid's official ambassador
In 2012 Rachel became WaterAid's first celebrity ambassador. She recently visited our work in Ethiopia, meeting families who currently do not have clean water, and saw first-hand the impact this has on communities.
The S Club 7 singer, who is pregnant with baby number two, looked gorgeous in her floor-length black gown for the event. Revealing that there’s less than three months until she gives birth, Rachel confessed that this pregnancy has been a little different to her previous one. The 35-year-old exclusively told OK! Online: “It’s definitely different when you’ve got a three-year-old to run around after. It’s not as indulgent. I don’t get to lie down as much.” Talking about plans after her little one arrives, the former Strictly Come Dancing contestant revealed that 2014 is looking very promising. Rachel said: “There’s a few things planned for next year which is really exciting. There’s a possible fashion project too which is great.” The mum-to-be also confessed who she’s backing for the winner’s title on The X Factor. She admitted: “Hopefully Sam Bailey wins. She makes me cry every Saturday night. I love her.” And of course with Christmas just around the corner Rachel revealed the day was all about family and ‘eating a lot’.
