| 01 | Beauty And The Beast (Tina – Photoshoots/Scans)

This year’s pantomime will also see the return of funny man Rik Gaynor as Pierre, and Danny Young as Madame Fifi. S Club 7 pop princess Tina Barrett will delight with a true beauty of a performance and ITV’s Superstar Jon Moses blaze as the beast. Known to millions across the world through smash-hit singles such as Never Had a Dream Come True, Reach and Don’t Stop Movin’, S Club 7 racked up a popular TV series, a box office hit movie, Seeing Double, and numerous sell-out tours. Paul Holman for pantomime producers Paul Holman Associates said: “Tina trained at the London Arts Educational School for eight years so she brings an amazing vocal talent and the performance skills to bring Beauty to life in an enchanting and magical portrayal of the girl who can set the Beast free.” Unleashing his inner beast on Chesterfield audiences, Jon Moses came to public attention in Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s TV search to find a Jesus for his arena tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. Jon sang his way into peoples’ hearts as his journey from his roots in Northumberland through to Lord Webber’s boot camp and live finals was played out nightly to millions of ITV viewers. After originally being told by Lord Webber that he would be the 11th man or understudy and would need to learn everyone’s parts and all the songs for the entire series, Webber dramatically changed his mind at the last minute, deciding Jon’s talents were too strong to be left out of the programme. The charming and charismatic singer went on to impress judges and the public before being eliminated just before the semi-final.

Beauty and the Beast opens on December 6, 2013, and runs until January 5, 2014. Tickets are available from the Box Office on 01246 345 222 or online at www.chesterfieldtheatres.co.uk.
